Öpus Master Mosaics
is the name of the worshop founded by Ali Hababseh, a talented and passionate young craftsman from Madaba. Among its eight uncles, three of them are mosaic's craftsmen. He started to help them at their workshops when he was a kid! He remembers making its first
mosaic piece at the age of seven!
The workshop opened on the 21st of September 2011 on Al-Jamea St, the touristic shopping area of Madaba. The first order - a one meter mosaic representing the Tree of Life - was applied on a column of Kempinski Hotel Ishtar located by the Dead Sea.
